The house is located in a small village near Phonphisai Town, called Ban Thin Dung which means “peaceful village”. The people of the town make their living by farming, fishing, and working the rice fields. Nearby you can see the Mekong river and Hualaung river, forests, and rice fields all around.

The house has plenty of rooms to host the volunteers. There is a computer with high speed internet, the bathrooms are equiped with a hot shower and western style toilets and every room has a fan.

The house is surrounded by bright green rice field and behind the house is a beautiful green garden filled with trees, plants and flowers that Jack planted himself when he was young. Jack likes to work in his garden and his love for nature is visible in this garden!
